Man shot by police in western Sydney
A man is fighting for life after being shot by police during a domestic violence welfare check in western Sydney overnight.
Officers responded to a call at a Fairfield address around 7.30pm last night, where they attempted to speak with a man at the property.
Police allege the man lunged at officers, prompting one officer to discharge their firearm. #crime #police #investigation #westernsydney #fairfield
