A Kick livestreamer captured the moment a street takeover in eastern Los Angeles erupted into a gunfight early on Sunday, April 12, leaving four people hospitalised.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LACSD) said deputies responded to reports of a “street takeover at the intersection of Del Mar Avenue and Garvey Avenue, in the City of Rosemead.”
“During the incident, a shooting occurred, resulting in four victims being struck by gunfire. All four victims were transported to local hospitals and are currently listed in stable condition,” the department said.
According to NBC, the victims were identified as a 17-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man.
The LACSD said detectives were working to identify those involved and determine the events that led up to the shooting.
