Ley urges parliament to reconvene in a push for the Coalition’s ‘package’ on combating antisemitism
Opposition Leader Sussan Ley urges Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to recall parliament in the wake of the Bondi massacre.
“I haven’t heard the prime minister give a date … we need the parliament to come back,” Ms Ley said.
“Every single day, the Coalition stands ready to go into parliament, to move our own legislation, to establish a Royal Commission into antisemitism.
“We will work with the government on our package, which is vital for truth accountability and keeping Australians safe.”
