Learner driver refused bail over fatal Kemps Creek crash | 7NEWS
A 21-year-old learner driver, Trent Beesley, has been refused bail and charged with 12 offences including dangerous driving occasioning death following a three-car collision at Kemps Creek in western Sydney. The crash killed a 25-year-old father at the scene and his toddler son who later died in hospital, while the child’s mother remains in hospital with serious injuries. Police allege Beesley was driving unaccompanied without L-plates displayed, speeding on the wrong side of the road in a works zone, with the speedometer found stuck at 110 kilometres per hour.
