Lauren Huxley’s attacker denied parole after 20 years | 7NEWS
Robert Farmer, who brutally attacked 18-year-old Lauren Huxley in her Northmead home in 2005 by beating her, dousing her in petrol and setting the house alight, has been denied parole. Despite being given only a 5% chance of survival, Lauren Huxley recovered and learnt to talk, walk and eat again. Farmer, who was jailed for 25 years and has almost served his minimum sentence, can reapply for parole every 12 months but remains in prison due to the ongoing risk he poses to the community and his continued denial of the offence.
