Labor claims they’re building ‘more social and affordable’ housing

Assistant Productivity and Treasury Minister Andrew Leigh claims the Labor government is “building more social and affordable” housing.

“We’re the government that is most engaged in housing … than any government in the past half century,” Mr Leigh told News24.

“We’re working with states and territories [to] engage with those policies at the state and local level which have impeded building.

“We’re building more social and affordable housing through the Housing Australia Future Fund.”
