Kyiv has come under overnight attack in what observers say is one of Russia’s heaviest bombardments on the Ukrainian capital.
President Volodydmyr Zelenskyy says 500 drones and over 40 missiles were launched.
At least four people have died.
Many regions – even those far from the front line – have been under an air raid alert.
Neighbouring NATO country Poland scrambled fighter jets.
