Kristi Noem urges full travel ban on ‘every damn country’ sending immigrant criminals
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has recommended a sweeping travel ban on every country she claims is sending dangerous immigrants to the United States.
In a fiery post to X, Noem affirmed the need for America to keep out “foreign invaders.”
“I just met with the President. I am recommending a full travel ban on every damn country that’s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies,” Ms Noem wrote.
The announcement came after an Afghan immigrant allegedly attacked two National Guard members in Washington, DC.
Formal charges were not immediately filed against suspect Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who had been in the US since 2021 under a program of then-president Joe Biden’s administration.
Noem blamed the Biden administration for inadequate screening of Afghans and asserted that Lakanwal was not properly vetted.
