‘Knees shaking’: Trump’s ‘profound’ UN address has world leaders rethinking policies
Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says US President Donald Trump’s UN address has world leaders “shaking”.
“Well, it was an absolute cracker of a speech,” Mr Kroger told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“Talking to other world leaders, I actually think he was talking to the populations directly … he’s talking directly to the populations, and I actually think it’ll have an immense effect amongst people because when the US president speaks … I think it has a profound effect.”
“You could’ve just seen the knees of people like Macron and Starmer and others, knees shaking with every word.”
