Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has lost over half his audience following his big return to television after a brief suspension.
The host’s ratings reportedly plummeted by 64 per cent after he returned to TV following comments he made about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Following Kimmel’s controversial remarks, Disney pulled the host from the air due to widespread backlash after he claimed Kirk’s killer was MAGA.
Upon the host’s return last Tuesday, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ garnered a huge audience, but many who tuned in for his return did not stick around.
During Thursday’s episode, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ averaged 2.3 million viewers, a huge drop off from the previous week’s roughly 6.26 million.
