JD Vance has blasted Israel’s parliament for holding a vote to advance a bill on the annexation of the West Bank, saying he has taken “some insult to it”.
The Vice President was in Israel on Wednesday when the Knesset approved two bills that pave the way for the annexation of the Palestinian West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967.
“If it was a political stunt it was a very stupid political stunt and I personally take some insult to it,” the Vice President said at Israel’s Ben Gurion airport before leaving the country.
