Jared Kushner meets with Hamas leader in Egypt for talks on the Gaza peace plan
US envoy and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has met Hamas’ leader in Egypt in an effort to make progress on the Gaza peace plan.
Mr Kushner is expected to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week, who recently rejected the road map.
The peace plan has faced a roadblock over the issue of Hamas’ disarmament and the IDF’s withdrawal from the enclave.
