Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama dies aged 97
Avant-garde Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has passed away at 97 years old. Her studio announced the icon’s death today, saying she had passed away in a Tokyo hospital earlier this month.
Kusama was best known for her trademark polka-dot designs which she said were inspired by hallucinations she experienced since childhood. #YayoiKusama #art #artist #Japan
