‘It’s a great deal’: Expert analyses phase one of Trump Gaza peace deal

Australia and Israel Jewish Affairs Council’s Bren Carlill discusses the first phase of the peace deal between Israel and Hamas, which US President Donald Trump orchestrated.

“It’s a great deal, it’s certainly phase one, which was signed off on,” Mr Carlill told Sky News Australia.

“It allows Israel to retrieve its hostages … this war started because of the horrors that Hamas inflicted on October 7.”
