Israeli settlers target European diplomats in West Bank | ABC NEWS
Israeli settlers attacked European diplomats and a French mayor in the West Bank. The French foreign minister demanded the arrest of those responsible. However, the Israeli prime minister’s office cast doubt on the incident and called for more evidence.
The attacks come amid a surge of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank and one day after an American journalist was assaulted by settlers in another village. The US Secretary of State called on Israel to rein in the violence.
