Iranian regime ‘ready’ for US to try to ‘starve’ them economically

​News24 US Analyst Michael Ware says the Iranian regime is “ready” for America to try to “starve” them economically.

​“He’s now sitting back saying we’ve put the military operation on the slow boil, diplomacy is on the back foot, so let’s try starve them economically,” Mr Ware told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

​“Well, the Iranians are ready for that.

​“Unlike the Republican Party here, they don’t have midterms in 90-odd days, and unlike Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, they don’t have elections in October.”
