Iran vows revenge after Trump unleashes strikes over Apache helicopter shootdown
Iran has threatened retaliation after US forces launched strikes in response to the downing of an American Apache helicopter.
President Trump ordered the attacks after blaming Tehran for the incident near the Strait of Hormuz.
US Central Command said the operation targeted Iranian radar, air defense and control sites in a “proportional response.”
Iran’s foreign minister warned that Tehran would leave no attack “unanswered” following the US strikes.
The Apache incident marks one of the most direct recent clashes since the ceasefire began.
