Iran and Oman in talks over Strait of Hormuz | Russia says Ukraine deliberately targeted civilians
Russia has blamed Ukraine for a deadly drone strike on a resort town, which killed at least seven people, including three children.
The strike hit a popular beach near Gelendzhik on the Black Sea coast.
Ukrainian officials are yet to respond to the attack, but both sides have previously blamed each other for deliberately targeting civilians.
Iran has threatened the US military in the Gulf, if it interferes with a new route that it’s planning with Oman in the Strait of Hormuz, or if Washington attempts to establish shipping lanes other than those designated by Tehran.
It follows claims from President Donald Trump that a diplomatic breakthrough was imminent with Iran after calling off air strikes.
