Investigations begin as the Philippines Senate is sent into lockdown
The Philippines’ president has called an emergency meeting after gunfire forced the country’s Senate into lockdown.
This comes as c Ronald dela Rosa has been accused by the International Criminal Court of killing dozens of people when he was police chief during former president Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.
It’s reported that dela Rosa sought refuge in the Senate, resulting in a standoff.
