Indiana RINOs defeated by loyal MAGA Republican reps as Trump increases hold on party
Filmmaker Ami Horowitz details the situation in Indiana, in which US President Donald Trump has managed to rid the GOP of the Republican in Name Only (RINO) representatives.
“Five months ago, the President pushed hard, immense pressure on Indiana state senators, to vote for a redistricting plan, which would give Indiana two more Republican seats,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Fast forward Tuesday, and eight of those two senators were up for reelection; well, starting back in February, Trump and his operatives began planning how to dethrone these guys; they raised $8 million.
“This is a big loss for people who want to stand up against the Trump agenda.”
