‘In reality’: Tariff-hit countries may not sympathise with Trump’s national security strategy
The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan sits down with Sky News host Andrew Bolt to analyse the US’ national security strategy amid concerns relationships with tariff-imposed countries have waned.
“The US has in the last year imposes insane punitive tariffs on India and it has driven India into the arms both of Vladimir Putin and of China,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“This is because Narendra Modi disagreed with Trump that Trump had solved the India-Pakistan conflict and would not nominate Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize.”
