Ilhan Omar disgracefully refuses to comply with investigation into massive Minnesota fraud
US Representative Ilhan Omar has refused requests by a Minnesota committee investigating her ties to the massive fraud scandal plaguing the state.
On Tuesday, after several failed requests, a subpoena failed to compel Omar to provide information about her ties to the fraud.
Chair of the House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee, Representative Kristin Robbins, spoke before the failed vote.
“We have reached out to Representative Ilhan Omar on multiple occasions, inviting her to testify and inviting and requesting documents,” Robbins said.
Robbins expressed the importance of Omar accepting the request as the committee continues to investigate “whistleblower reports and webs of fraud.”
”I do think the subpoena is important. This is one of dozens, if not hundreds, of things we are investigating. We have had hundreds of whistleblower reports. They continue to come in weekly,” Robbins said.
