ICYMI Ashley St. Clair says Elon Musk’s team offered her $40m to sign NDA

Former right wing influencer Ashley St. Clair has warned of potentially “catastrophic” consequences from Elon Musk stoking “deliberate division” through his social media platform X.

St. Clair, who is the mother of one of Musk’s children, made the comments at the Venice Film Festival premiere of the documentary Musk, in which she appears. The film is being widely released in the United States this weekend.

She told reporters she also rejected a US$40 million ($57.3 million) offer by Musk’s team to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Musk responded to the claims via X, saying St. Clair “was never offered that and has a history of making false claims”.

In another post, he criticised the documentary, saying its creator Alex Gibney “just assembled a hit list of people who either have an axe to grind or don’t even know me”.

St. Clair also said Musk sent her a text message in which he told her he wanted to have a “a legion of children before the civil war”.

Musk has 14 publicly confirmed children with four different women, including one child that died in infancy. Media reports citing sources close to Musk have indicated the true number could be much higher.
