‘I expect it to be very constructive’: Anthony Albanese questioned over upcoming Trump meeting
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been questioned by reporters over his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump in late October.
Mr Albanese was questioned about whether he was concerned about President Trump potentially confronting him in his upcoming meeting, like he’s done with previous world leaders.
“No. We have a good relationship. We’ve had respectful calls. Australia and the United States are great partners. I expect it to be very constructive,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Wednesday.
