How these ‘Aussie’ posters spread across the country are making another comeback
Nearly a decade ago, posters began appearing in cities around the country with a striking image of a Muslim cameleer, and the word Aussie written underneath.
The artist Peter Drew aimed to start a conversation about what it means to be Australian at a time when racial division was rife.
His message is still as relevant today dividing opinions and touching the lives of many, including politicians.
