Johnny Depp delighted crowds as he made an unexpected appearance as Ebenezer Scrooge, his latest movie role, during Comic-Con in San Diego, California, on Thursday, July 23.
Footage captured by Another Side Tours in the city’s Gaslamp Quarter shows the Hollywood star in full costume and makeup as he stepped out of a building marked with a “Scrooge and Marley” sign and entertained excited fans outside.
“Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol” is due to be released in theatres on November 13.
