‘His passing will not be mourned’: Albanese backs US-Israel strikes on Iran
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has expressed support for US and Israeli strikes on Iran, welcoming the joint military action and the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Mr Albanese said his passing “will not be mourned,” stating Khamenei was responsible for orchestrating attacks on Australian soil.
Australia played no military role in Saturday’s strikes and had no advance notice of the operation.
