‘He’s not backing down’: Trump continues brutal campaign to end Iran’s nuclear program

Jewish News Syndicate Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Tobin claims US President Donald Trump is not “backing down” on his threats towards Iran.

“Trump has been pretty resolute, he’s not settling for anything less than the Iranian nuclear program, the end of their missile program and cutbacks on their international terrorism,” Mr Tobin told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“The American blockade of Iranian ports is putting far greater pressure on Iran. Their economy, which was already tottering, is really an enormous tumble.

“The idea that all the cards are in Iran’s hands, I think, is a mistake, and he [Donald Trump] is acting pretty confidently.

“He’s not backing down … he is going to hold his ground and insist that Iran does what he says.”
