Hantavirus cruise ship to dock in Canary Islands | 7NEWS
A cruise ship carrying over 140 passengers from 23 countries, including four Australians and one permanent resident, is scheduled to dock in Tenerife, Canary Islands, following an outbreak of Hantavirus on board. Eight cases have been confirmed with three deaths reported. The World Health Organisation has deployed its head to oversee the disembarkation process, with passengers to be medically assessed before repatriation flights to their home countries.
