Hamas to disarm under new deal | NATO hold emergency meeting over strike in Poland

US President Donald Trump says his so-called “Board of Peace” has reached an agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas militants and other armed groups in Gaza.

In return, Israel will withdraw its forces from the territory in phases.

While the deal is being hailed as ‘monumental’ – it’s unclear if Israel will agree to the terms.. and analysts say many hurdles remain before the conflict can be resolved.
