Hamas hands over more hostage bodies as Israel restricts Gaza aid | ABC NEWS
Hamas has returned the bodies of four more hostages, as Israel is refusing to open the Rafah border crossing and halving the number of aid trucks entering Gaza.
The Israeli government is accusing Hamas of breaching a ceasefire deal by delaying the return of all the 28 deceased Israeli captives.
The militant group had initially released 20 living hostages and four coffins in exchange for almost 2,000 Palestinian detainees in the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire.
Several Palestinians have reportedly been killed, as the IDF confirmed it opened fire on people who violated its withdrawal line during the fragile ceasefire.
US President Donald Trump has declared the beginning of phase two of his Gaza peace plan, threatening to disarm Hamas ‘violently’ if they do not lay down their weapons.
