A police chase through western Sydney ended with a driver firing multiple shots into the air at a Guildford roundabout before fleeing on foot. The pursuit began in South Wentworthville when police attempted to stop a Nissan utility with suspected stolen or replica plates, leading to a 9km chase that included the vehicle clipping a parked car. The suspect, wearing an orange high-visibility construction shirt, remains at large as police continue their search with helicopter and dog units.
