Government accused of ‘failing Jewish community’ following Bondi interim report release

Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman claims the government “failed the Jewish community” following the release of the interim report into the Bondi terror attack.

“What I’m worried about is when we hear calls for tougher gun law regulation … that is all about a distraction,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.

“People again who are in positions of authority, who run the administration of tough gun laws, which we have, failed us. Failed the Jewish community.

“The Jewish community, I say to them, don’t let them off the hook … because it’s not good enough so far.”
