Golden retriever buried under landslide rubble is pulled out alive
This is the heartwarming moment a Golden Retriever was pulled alive from beneath mud and rubble three days after a landslide buried her family’s home in the Philippines.
Lexi’s family home, which stood beside a river in General Trias, Cavite, was badly damaged when the soil behind the house collapsed after days of heavy downpour on August 7.
The landslide tore through the property, leaving thick mud, broken concrete and debris scattered across the area and Lexa, the family’s beloved Golden Retriever, trapped beneath the wreckage.
The family had been evacuated from the danger zone, but were left devastated after losing sight of their two-year-old pet dog.
However, hope returned when they heard Lexa barking somewhere beneath the debris.
Lexi recalled how volunteers and local authorities joined the search, carefully combing through the wreckage in the hope of finding the missing dog alive.
