‘God help me, mate’: Victorian Labor Party proposes $134,000 statue of Dan Andrews
Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman comments on the proposed $134,00 statue of former Victorian premier Dan Andrews.
The Victorian Labor government defended its decision, claiming it was in line with a policy established by former Liberal premier Jeff Kennett.
“There’s a portrait in the parliament … no statue, God help me mate, please,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.
