Gina Rinehart ABC joke exposes double standard on women

News24 Contributor Caroline De Russo says past political controversies prove there is a different standard applied when women on the right are targeted compared to those on the left.

“I remember when there was a time when it wasn’t acceptable for Tony Abbott to look at his watch without it being sexist,” Ms Russo told News24 host Andrew Bolt.

“You do not build any credibility by trying to caveat your answer behind your ministerial position.

“This absolutely wouldn’t fly any day of the week if it was a woman of the left.”
