‘Gift to the Coalition’: Albanese’s ‘absolutely bizarre’ comedy skit appearance blasted

The Australian’s Associate Editor Jenna Clarke criticises Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s appearance on a social media comedy skit, labelling it as “a gift to the Coalition”.

“I think … Angus Taylor’s people are paying Albo’s advisors because it is a gift to the Coalition,” Ms Clarke jested to News24 host James Macpherson.

“We’ve had a week where the prime minister has done nothing but … he’s offended our neighbours in the Pacific by refusing to wear a beautiful floral garland.

“I just have absolutely no idea what we’re paying this guy for.”
