Amit Gupta from Rooty Hill, Western Sydney, completed an Ironman triathlon just six months after learning to swim. He initially couldn’t put his head underwater and thought swimming meant keeping his head above water while splashing. What began as adult swimming lessons at the Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre to spend time in the water with his children transformed into completing one of the world’s toughest endurance races.
