Former FBI director James Comey has been indicted on one count of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice.
The grand jury’s indictment came after US President Donald Trump mentioned Mr Comey by name in a social media post chiding Attorney-General Pam Bondi for not moving quickly enough on charging him.
