First-home buyers still locked out despite Labor housing measures
Political Editor Andrew Clennell believes first homebuyers remain priced out of the market.
“In major capital cities, the prices are too high for first homebuyers anyway,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“There was nothing in that Budget from the Treasury modelling, and God knows how they come up with that modelling, which suggested that there would be a significant change in house prices because of their measures.
“They said $19,000 off the median price of a home.”
