Fire at Dubai hotel as Iran retaliates
A drone hit the grounds of the Fairmont hotel in Dubai as Iranian forces carried out retaliatory strikes following a joint US-Israel assault on Iran.
The UAE’s foreign ministry earlier said it had intercepted several Iranian missiles that targeted the country, and that an Asian man had been killed by falling missile debris in Abu Dhabi.
In Iran, state media said Iranian strikes had targeted US military installations in Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, in retaliation for the US-Israeli strikes on Tehran and other parts of Iran.
