‘Fighting back’: Victorian farmers ‘face off’ against VicGrid in renewables protest

Sky News host Rita Panahi discusses Victorian farmers fighting back against Labor’s implementation of transmission lines on their properties.

“The Labor government have long treated the farmers there and people from regional communities like second-class citizens,” Ms Panahi said.

“I’m happy to report the country is fighting back.

“Earlier this week, there was a standoff … where hundreds of farmers faced off against the Victorian government agency VicGrid.”
