Father jailed for keeping woman as slave | 7NEWS
Chee Kit Chong has been sentenced to six years in prison for holding an Indonesian woman in her 60s as a slave in his Point Cook home for eight months in 2022. The victim, who had a mother-son relationship with Chong when they met in Malaysia years earlier, was forced to work as a domestic servant, beaten when her work was unsatisfactory, and deprived of food and sleep. She died of natural causes in 2024 aged 63, before seeing justice served.
