‘Farcical policy’: Net zero continues to disadvantage Australian farmers

Nationals Senate Leader Bridget McKenzie criticises the “farcical policy” of net zero for disadvantaging farmers.

“That’s why this revelation was so compelling,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News host Rowan Dean.

“We have the National Farmers Federation on the week of this announcement, saying, you know, it’s great that agriculture’s got a carve out.

“Once again, the communities in rural and regional Australia, the intergenerational upsets and our primary producers that are going to be paying for this farcical policy.”
