Explosion at Syrian mosque kills eight and injures 18
Eight people are dead and 18 worshipers are wounded in a mosque explosion in the Syrian city of Homs.
An ultra-conservative Muslim group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to local officials, the explosion coincided with Friday noon prayers.
