A 71-year-old cafe owner in Essendon has lost his business after arsonists firebombed Andy’s Place Cafe at 1am, just days after the same establishment was targeted in a drive-by shooting on Friday. The owner, who had run the cafe for almost two decades with his son and planned to retire soon, was unable to secure insurance after the initial shooting and now faces devastating financial loss as police hunt for the perpetrators and whoever hired them.
