‘Erasing history’: UK pub The Silent Woman’s ‘woke’ rebrand to The Angel

Sky News Host Caleb Bond discusses how a UK pub’s name has been changed from ‘The Silent Woman’ to ‘The Angel’, calling it wokeism and political correctness.

“There’s a pub over in England … that was called The Silent Woman and it’s not called The Silent Woman anymore,” Mr Bond said.

“The pub was going through renovations, so in the process, they changed its name to ‘The Angel’.

“The regular drinkers there have said … ‘we’ve been coming to The Silent Woman’ for decades.”
