‘Enemies of the US’: Trump to designate cartels ‘foreign terrorist organisations’
US President Donald Trump is designating drug cartels as “foreign terrorist organisations”.
“They are being declared enemies of the United States of America,” Mr Trump said.
“A big deal from a legal standpoint and military standpoint.
“Anyone who steps foot across our border illegally is intercepted, arrested, and immediately deported, or if they’re really bad, they’re put into prison.”
