Ellen DeGeneres returns to California after fleeing America following Trump’s election win

Former talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres has returned to California, only a year after fleeing the US following Donald Trump’s election victory.

DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, returned to America is brief despite spending $US27 million on a mansion in Montecito.

A source close to the former talk show host revealed to Fox News Digital that the couple plans to stay in Montecito in the winter and that the move back is “temporary”.

“Ellen and Portia love the Cotswolds and can’t wait to return to England,” a source said.

A source revealed to People magazine that the couple have been “missing the California weather and horse scene.”
