Eight people have been killed and dozens injured in a collision between a train and a public bus in Bangkok.
The bus had stopped on railway tracks before being hit by a cargo train. Acting Governor of the State Railway Of Thailand, Anan Phonimdaeng says the bus was able to obstruct oncoming railway traffic because an officer could not bring down a barrier when the train arrived.
